Any stadium that compromises the football isn’t fit for purpose. To have to run up a hill to take a corner is laughable after spending all that and starting with a blank sheet of paper.

Re: Spurs new ground
were we actually searched? seemed alot less hassle and people than our place or say, cheslea?

Id had a couple of beers however dont actually remember being searched

how many hundred OB were there...proper overkill

Re: Spurs new ground
Never been anywhere before that would not let you take food in. Had to leave my carefully made packed lunch outside which pissed me right off, and then on top of that no beer.

As others have said that semi rail seating worked well.

Re: Spurs new ground
the finish of the stadium is a football er wives mansion tiles and all sorts- ours is bury dictric council house circa 1980
entrance and exit stairs wiered and cramped- the bogs were ridiculously small...dont understand why they dont let you go out for a ciggie break on the upper walkway- would save alot of hassle.

transport was much better- in and out of northumberland park plus there's an poffie where you can get a beer

the safe standing rails were excelllent also

Saw a phone video clip of their empty stadium with crowd singing being pumped out of the PA.
If thats genuine and is the way things are going then thats embarrasing.

Nice enough to look at and you're a lot closer to the action than what we are. Away section is cramped though and only one set of toilets. Possibly done on purpose but as it is a new stadium i would have though the facilities would have been better.

Corporate's were directly behind us giving it all game about small team, muppets, homeless etc, I did enquire whether they talking about themselves amongst themselves. Don't think they got it. Did enjoy giving it to them at the end.

Excellent day out

Not a bad gaff. But we aren't the only ones with an ineffective iconic roof.

Safe standing will work with those rails if it is allowed to.

I think they should name the North Stand the Antonio End in honour of yesterday.

Top sausage rolls. Sarge Jr gave them 9.5 out of 10.
